Requirements

(i) No previous experience or qualifications are required.

(ii) You will be given full tuition and guidance.

But what you will need are:

Courtesy & consideration.        A genuine desire to learn.         Good timekeeping/attendance.  Diligence.         A respect for Nature and for other creatures.

Build Your Skills

You will find that a placement such as this will improve various skills such as:

Self Confidence;     Initiative;   Communication skills;   Problem Solving;   Self Reliance;  Research; Assessment.

On completion of your placement or period of study or volunteering, you will be given a written Testimonial. You may also refer prospective employers to us to give you a Reference.

Foreign Applicants

If successful before coming to England you will be a given a full induction programme and be sent documents covering such things as:

What to Bring.  Types of study/volunteering you will do.  Things to visit.   Facilities.   Accidents Policy.   Code of Conduct.   Risk Assessment.  Rights  Responsibilities.   The Local Area.

Until the end of December 2020 the UK is in the transition period from leaving the E.U, so full conditions of E.U. membership still apply. After 2020 there may be some changes.

Accommodation provision includes: Sleeping in a separate library/bedroom.  Bed linen.  3 meals a day.  Free wi-fi.
